The Soundmancer beta

The beta is free with a key until March 31, 2027. Here is what that means, and what happens when it ends.

Who this is from

The beta is run by Night Operator LLC ("we"), the company that makes Soundmancer.

What the beta is

You get a free key and the app until March 31, 2027. During the beta Soundmancer is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. It never changes your original recordings, but keep copies of anything that matters.

When the beta ends

After March 31, 2027 the app stops exporting new episodes until there's a license. Mastering and trimming need one too. What you already exported is yours to keep.

Your episodes

Your episodes and recordings stay on your computer. Soundmancer never uploads your audio or your transcripts. The privacy pagelists the little the app does send.

Your email

The name and email you give when you apply, and your answers on the form, are used for the beta: to choose who gets a key and to write to you about it. The privacy page says what we keep.

Problem reports

The app sends a problem report only when you press Send, and it shows you every word of the report first.
