Apply to test Soundmancer
Soundmancer is a podcast editor that runs on your own computer. Each person's track is transcribed, you edit the episode by reading the transcript, and then you export it to Audition, Reaper, Audacity, stems or a finished mix. Nothing is uploaded. I'm Jeff, I make it, and I'm opening a first wave of five to ten testers. You get a free key and the app, and you can write to me directly.
The beta is Windows only for now, and it's free until it ends on March 31, 2027. After that the app stops exporting new episodes until there's a license, and mastering and trimming need one too. What you already exported is yours. In return I ask for a problem report from the app whenever something goes wrong. The app shows you the report before it sends.
